Build Statement Sentences

Additional examples:
I hikoi a Anaru.  (Anaru walked)
I te moe nga tamariki.  (The children were sleeping.)
Kua hikoi ia.  (He/she has walked.)
Kei te kōrero a Bev.  (Bev is talking.)
E oma ana te kuri.  (The dog is and constantly runs.)
Ka mahi ahau.  ( I will work.)

Answer the A O Questions and TENSE

The question has a different pronoun in the answer.  How is YOUR dog?  MY dog is good.


 
Tense:
 Kei te = Now 

Kei te pēhea tou whaea?  (How is your mother at this moment?)
Kei te ngenge ia.  (She is tired)

Kei te pēhea koutou?  (How are you fellas?)
Kei te harikoa mātou. (We are happy.)

Tense:
E ________ ana = Started, now and on-going

pēhea ana āku negru? (How are my cats going?)

E pai ana āu negru.  (Your cats are doing good.)

pēhea ana tōu whaea? (How is your mother?)

E hiakai ana tōku whaea.  (My mother is always hungry!)
