For the purpose of...



He ñga ringaringa enei, he pakipaki.   (These hands here are for clapping)
He puku tenei, hei whaka ki.  (This puku here is for filling)
He nono tenei, hei anoho.  (This bottom here is for sitting)
He ñga matiwae enei, he hikoi. (These feet here are for walking)
He ñga hope enei, he kanikani... he kanaikani. (These hips here for dancing)

He whare kai tenei, hei tunu.  (The kitchen here for cooking)
He whare moe tera, he moe... he moe.  (The bedroom over there for sleeping)
He whare kariaka tera, he waiata.  (The house of prayer over there for singing)
He whare pukapuka tera, he panui.  (The library over there for reading)
